"What if you already had everything you needed in order to build towards your "new" right in front of you? What if those bricks you were in search for were already provided for you a long time ago. "Florida Girl" expresses a theme of new beginnings that were built off of "old resources". This piece features 2 paintbrushes, green leaves that are growing off of white branches/twigs, 3 abstract bleeding flowers, 3 crosses right in front of a hyperrealism-like eye with a tribal abstract design right underneath it, and other abstract elements that were added to the piece. "Letting go and allowing yourself to fail trusting that if that fall ends ups in some sort of discomfort or loss...God has you where you need to be. This collage piece has several sections that symbolize various life lessons. Out of those various life lessons there is one in particular that seems to have been one I have had to relearn. That lesson is.... letting go."

"Have you ever had a wonderful experience somewhere that eventually led to you frequently visiting that location? Or have you ever had such a beautiful interaction with someone that it changed your view. And not just on the surface level. Did that interaction change your way of life, actions, or even your state of mind? This piece expresses the blinding effects of deep sorrow. The red brush stokes laying over the eyes symbolizes how the pain that pours out from our wounds can affect our vision. There is a white/cream colored textured silhouette in between two gold organic textured designs that lays in the corners of a blue & white textured "limewash" background. Tainted Vision, Florida Girl, and No Limits were pieces that I came back to add finished touches to after a couple of years. I never knew that they would be eventually apart of a collection that would release."

"Funny story, I actually planned on this piece having a silhouette of a person in black in the background and I planned on creating a totally different background....The results of this not happening kind of goes with the theme of letting go lol. This piece is very abstract and has some pop art spice. Creating this piece made me feel so much lighter. It is a part of a collection of other pieces I had gone back to edit.
"No Limits" is an expression of the mindset I think any creative should have. "
